Ding Ding! Time for the fans to lace them up and go at it. This is the most unique section in Boxing2006.com where you, the fans, can actually argue in a scheduled bout where we will
score rounds and declare the winner.

  How To Play:

We will have a new boxing topic at the beginning of each week. Simply click the corner which you would like to argue for (Blue or Red), let us know you would like to compete and we will pick 2 fans to go at it.
When two opposing fans (one for Blue, one for Red) email us by the following Monday, we will email both opponents, letting them know the 1st round has begun.

The Blue Corner will have up to 24 hours to reply to our topic of the week.
One Short paragraph is sufficient, nothing too long.
After their email and argument is received, it will be posted on 'Fan Fight' as well as emailed to their opponent. At that time, the Red Corner will have 24 hours to reply to what was said.
When both opponents 1st round arguments are received, they can check back on 'Fan Fight' to see who we saw as the winner of that round (highlighted in yellow).

Round 2: The Red Corner begins this round.
The Red Corner has within 24 hours to begin round 2's argument.
The Blue Corner will have 24 hours to reply after.

Round 3: The Blue Corner begins this round, Red Corner replies.

4th and Final Round: Red Corner begins, Blue Corner replies.

Once 4 rounds are complete we will declare the winner
(unless a knockout occurs, in that case, the fight ends in the particular round).

All records of opponents will be stored and posted.

I.F.F.B.C. (Internet Fan Fight Boxing Commission) Rules:

Each bout, beginning every Monday, will be scheduled for 4 rounds (lasts up to 1 week max.). The faster you reply, the sooner we can post the results and the sooner rounds go by. A single fight could end within one day based on the opponents replies.

Once the fight is set, the email to begin round 1 is sent (Monday's).

The Blue Corner always begins the 1st round and the 3rd round.
The Red Corner always begins the 2nd round and the 4th round.

Each opponent has 4 chances(1 per round) to make their case. The opponent who makes the strongest case wins the round/fight. Draw rounds are possible.

If an opponent fails to email within 1 rounds time (24 hours), they forfeit the fight and their opponent wins by KO. Failure to begin the first round results in DQ if no replacement fan-fighter can be found.

Points can be taken away for fouls (bad language or incorrect facts). Knockdowns can be scored if one opponent is too dominant in their discussion, even resulting in a knockout and the fight will end in that particular round.

We will pick the topic (but you can submit your own) and the opponents (those that email wanting to compete who have similar records). We will keep all records so that every fight is fair, and a championship fight will be discussed down the line against the two top contenders.

We Hope You Enjoy Fan Fight!
