Focused on his up coming showdown for the WBC Light Welterweight title against the undefeated Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley (22-0, 11 KO’s). live on Showtime Championship Boxing, the co-main event for the Lightweight war between Nate Campbell vs. Joan Guzman live from Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Miss.

Cherry capturing a great 10th round KO win against veteran Stevie Johnston his last outing looking for this great opportunity to fight for the world title at the 140 lbs. division.

Cherry: “I thank the Lord for me being here giving me the opportunity to show my talents and fight on September 13th. I am in great shape my team at Starfight put in a lot of very hard work and hours getting me ready for this fight”.

Cherry: “Watching the young kids come in to the gym everyday drives me to be an example to them, I certainly want to show them the harder you work you can accomplish your dreams”.

“I am focused and well prepared, I do not plan on changing much what I do in the ring, I have been working successfully and I feel real good about that. I give a lot of credit to my trainer Pete Fernandez, He has been pushing me to were no man has gone in the gym”.
